Daisy Fawcett has over 30 years experience in working with ceramics, with her initial degree was in ceramics for manufacture, she then went on to become a senior lecture in ceramics at De Montfort University. Daisy is now a full time practicing maker in clay working from her studio in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. Much of Daisy’s time is spent working in partnership with Pure Table Top and our factories, supporting the design, shape creation and manufacture of new design briefs.



Julian Dowson a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Julian has worked in ceramics and glass with a number of design consultants including Conran and Pentagram and also as studio assistant to Eduardo Paolozzi.

Describing his style as modern practicality Julian Dowson design a variety of tableware products from finest bone china to hand painted terracotta. As an independent freelance designer he has brought many successful products to market for retailers and companies as diverse as John Lewis, Designers Guild, United Airlines, M&S, Wedgwood, Conran and many others.



Pure also work with a pool of freelance designers. Our versatile graphic designers are experienced in working to brief to achieve pattern design for ceramics, much of their work starts organically as a painting or hand drawn illustrations.
